Rescuing a Little Round Table

It isn't often that I can actually pick up a piece of furniture on  the side of the road.

My car is just too darn small!

But I saw this cute table on my way home from work last week and,

GUESS WHAT?

It fit in my car! 

So I scooped it up, brought it home with me and gave it a little makeover!

Teal and Lime Green Dry Sink Makeover

This dry sink was nothing special. Just your standard assembly-required piece of furniture with a very dark finish. Because of it's original dark look, I planned on painting it white and distressing the edges. But things took a turn for the better. ( I think anyway!)

School Days Vignette

School starts for my two kiddos next week. Hard to believe the summer is over but Autumn is always a beautiful time of year. I'm looking forward to it.

To celebrate the start of the school year, I made a little chalkboard printable I'm sharing with you today!

Autumn Celebration!

This week I'm taking my kids to meet their teachers for the new school year. They're excited and, frankly, so am I, although it's hard to believe I will have a 4th grader. Makes me feel a tiny bit on the old side!
With the start of school, comes thoughts of fall: sweaters, warm drinks with friends on a cool night, movies under a blanket. And, most of all, beautiful autumn colors!
