Flowers in a Frame

Since I'm not sure the snow and cold temperatures are ever going to end here in Michigan, I'm doing my best to think spring! I put together this little craft that's filled with bright greens and white flowers. Anything to hurry spring along a little!

Sometimes you pick up a great piece of junk and you just know you're going to use it for something awesome. Somehow. But you're just not sure how at first. So it sits for awhile. Unused. Maybe feeling a little unloved. That's exactly how this little bin's story goes. Until now.

Gallery Wall Update

Sometimes, one change leads to another. Most times, really. When I changed my furniture around, my wall got all unbalanced. So I went ahead and changed that around, too. And I'm loving it!

The Crafting Party and My Blooming Burlap Canvas

Last Sunday while I was the guest blogger at the Hometalk and Michaels Pinterest party, I made this pretty little spring wall hanging. It really only required some hot glue and a tiny bit of painting. I needed easy while I was chatting with people about Hometalk and helping with crafts. This certainly fit the bill!

Coffee for Two Bistro Set

I love sitting on the deck, great cup of coffee in hand, enjoying the very early morning sunlight on a warm summer day. I can almost feel the slight breeze and the sun's warmth on my shoulders. That time of morning before the humidity creeps in and everything is still quiet is my favorite. I think these new chairs and table are the perfect spot to relax at, just soaking it all in before the kids wake up and the day officially starts.

A Big, Bold Chalkboard

What was once a mirror (hmm...hmm... that I broke) is now a large and in charge chalkboard!
