When you have to dismantle the damaged panes from a window to make a Christmas sign, why not use the dividers to make a rustic Christmas star while you're at it? That's what I did!
After I took apart a chippy old window in order to make a Dreamy Christmas Sign, I figured the pieces must be good for something. Looking at the pieces sitting on my floor, and already in the holiday mood, a rustic Christmas star came to mind...
They were already the right sizes, so I simply tacked them together with nails and glue. Because I couldn't find my white glitter, I grabbed some embossing powder instead and mixed it with Mod Podge. Then I brushed it over the star for a little extra sparkle.
I love the rustic elegance this star adds to my vignette. I have it sitting on my sideboard right now. The sole Christmas-ish thing currently in my house besides works in progress! :)
