A Big, Bold Chalkboard

Bright Turquoise Chalkboard via http://deniseonawhim.blogspot.com
What was once a mirror (hmm...hmm... that I broke) is now a large and in charge chalkboard!
This frame was originally yellow. So when I painted it, I let some of that show through.

The turquoise you see is Peacock from American Paint Company.

I also used Surfboard from American Paint Company and CeCe Caldwell in Spring Hill Green on the detailing here.

Then I used the original heavy-duty cardboard from behind the mirror and painted it with chalkboard paint, stapling it on the back when dry.

Really a very easy project but one that makes a bold statement for sure!
(Even if your cat is photo-bombing it)
I'd love it if you keep in touch...
Your comments make me smile :) 'Til next time!
