I never pass on a crate.
I love them in my decorating at home.
They're great for giving height to my booth displays, too.
But, this one, made a great little table!
Turning this crate into a table wasn't too difficult.
I cut some pallet boards and attached them to the sides of the crate.
I added a cross bar on each set of legs to sturdy them up
and then also added a shelf onto the crossbars,
For the top, I used the same construction as I would for a pallet sign.
Except I added hinges to it and attached it to the top of the crate.
Great for storage!
The crate had originally been painted orange on the topbut it seemed a little loud,
so I sanded that down a little and added some aqua over it.
I love how it turned out!
It sold this last weekend at a show
with the purpose of storing some beach towels on someone's porch.
I think it's going to be perfect for that!
Let's keep in touch...
Your comments make me smile :) 'Til next time!
