Jello Mold Tinsel Tree

A Christmas tree from a chair dowel, a jello mold and some shiny silver tinsel via Denise On a Whim
I made a shiny silver Christmas tree out of an old chair dowel, some fake branches and a jello mold.
First I painted the jello mold with some Destin Gulf Green and added a touch of Kentucky Mint over that. Then I screwed the dowel to the tin.

I snipped pieces of the tinsel off off the branch I had found at the thrift store and I drilled holes in the dowel, hot gluing the branches in place as I went up the tree.

A little junky and a little glitzy. Just perfect for a thrifty Christmas!
