Salvaged Wood Hook Board

Hook Board from Salvaged Drawer Front via http://deniseonawhim.blogspot.com
Salvaged wood is one of my favorite things. I found this piece some time ago. But, when I didn't have much energy to create projects these last few weeks, I figured the least I could do was pull out this beauty and make a hook board!

The details on this piece are lovely, aren't they?

All it took was cleaning (a lot of cleaning) and some paint.
I'm assuming this was a drawer front because of the dovetailing on the edges.

I used the The Real Milk Paint Company's Cream.
I watered it down a lot and just gave this a thin white-washing.

Then I added 3 hooks I had purchased from Hobby Lobby, painting the screw heads when they were installed..

It was an easy project and just right for getting me back into the swing of things!
