After we put our Christmas tree up, the wall behind it looked a tiny bit bare.
So I grabbed some stuff and added a little more holiday cheer to it!
This little wooden cubby is something I've been meaning to add to my wall.
Just hadn't found the right place yet.
It looks great above my window frame chalkboard,
adorned with a few pinecones and vintage ornaments!
And some bottle brush trees and wooden spools of thread.
Sitting atop the cubbies is an old frame,
dressed in greens for the season.
Next to the chalkboard, framed by the window, hangs a wood slice snowman I made.
On the built-in bookcase next to the wall,
I added some more greenery and shiny vintage ornaments.
They sit in a rusty old container, perched atop an old wooden spool. I kept a photo of my kids and added some cheery garland
and a small glittery sign on a clipboard easel.
Because I still had an empty space on the wall,
I made these JOY letters to hang.
I cut a stencil and placed it on cardboard, then cut the letters out.
After hot-gluing burlap to the letters, I attached them all to a green burlap ribbon.
since we don't have a mantel.
Let's keep in touch...
Your comments make me smile :) 'Til next time!
