Embroidery Hoop and Sweater Valentines

Sweet Valentines from Embroidery Hoops and Sweater Scraps via http://deniseonawhim.blogspot.com
Love is definitely in the air around here! Take a look at some cute and easy Valentines I made with embroidery hoops, fabric scraps and burlap!
For this version, I simply put burlap in the embroidery hoop, used a little hot glue to secure and trimmed. Then I cut a heart out of some red corduroy scraps I had from a different project (which I'll be sharing soon) and used hot glue again to attach it to the burlap.

The red corduroy was actually a blazer I bought at Goodwill!

For this version, I used small strips of burlap and weaved them onto the embroidery hoop, attaching with hot glue. I had planned on using this hoop for making a snowman earlier but it completely broke and I was left with only the inside hoop. This was the perfect solution for it!

They're a cute little couple, aren't they?

I think these are the bees knees and they really didn't cost me a thing as I used what I already had on hand. Way too cute!
