Turquoise Birds on a Branch

Turquoise Birds on a Branch | Denise on a Whim
I cannot deny it.
I have spring fever!
Today the temperature is in the twenties here and it feels warm.
There's something so wrong with this picture!
So I decided to change the picture a little bit
and brought spring right into the house despite Old Man Winter!

I used another piece of my barn wood and made this warm and fuzzy
3-D bird art to welcome spring.
I mean, it has to arrive sometime, right?

I used a real twig and cut some fabric birds from a pretty turquoise napkin.
Like I did with some hearts for Valentine's Day,
I stuffed the bird with cotton balls and hot glued the edges together.

I added some bright green leaves from a different piece of scrap fabric.

And now there's just a little bit more spring in my neighborhood!
I simply cannot wait for our cold weather pattern to break.
But this bright little picture helps a little :)
