When I redecorated my kitchen, I moved my coffee station to a different area and added a thing or two , like the painted crate, a vintage sugar dish and a cute new sign.

Why Limit Happy?

It's Friday! And I, for one, couldn't be happier.

Not just because it's Friday.

I've been a busy little elf this year making custom signs for Christmas gifts.

Although I like all of the signs I make,

I do have favorites, of course.

A Housewarming Gift and A Custom Sign for Another Friend

A few weekends ago, I went to a housewarming party at a wonderful little cottage on the lake.

My friend's son and his girlfriend bought a house and, after remodeling most of it, finally got to move in. Emily, the lady of the house, has great taste!

After having seen the way she decorated the house, I chose to make them this sign from a piece of an old wine barrel that my friend had given me.

With a job making commercial signs during the day,

and then turning around making painted wooden signs when I get home,

I'm sometimes surprised I don't make signs in my sleep too!

The sign I'm showing you today turns out to be one of my favorites of all time.

A Humorous Welcome Sign

Maybe it's just me and mine, but our house is

LOUD!

That's why I came up with this little welcome sign.

It's both a welcome and a warning!

Autumn's in the Air!

 With school starting and bit of a chill in the air this week,

A Craft Show and Freshening Up My Booth

 This past weekend I had a show at the Lowell Riverwalk Festival.
The show is a lot of fun to do because I get to see a bunch of people I know
and my space is right on the river.
It was a gorgeous day for an outdoor show, too!

New Store Signs

I recently received a request to make a couple of new signs

for the store where I have my booth.

When the store owner emailed me this crown and wings graphic,

I wasn't too sure about the outcome.

But it turned out pretty cool!

We finally got some warm weather here in Michigan!.

My post today is not only about spring,
although this sign is perfect for dreaming of warmer weather and spring blossoms.
But the sign and the post have a little more meaning for me than that.

I just love the coloring on it.

I adore his love songs and his lyrics so I couldn't resist using a line (or two)

from one of my favorite songs, Thinking Out Loud,

to create a new wooden sign.

I was lucky enough to get a call from a friend of mine
who is renovating her new house.
Her husband had removed a bunch of wood from one of the basement walls
and she was curious if I wanted it.
Of course!
As it turns out, the wood is absolutely gorgeous!
Most of it is bare but a few pieces had been painted,
so I turned a few of those boards into some Valentine signs!
