I love it when I find great frames for cheap. It gives me the perfect excuse to make another burlap sign, like the Christmas version I'm sharing today.
For this sign, I painted the frame with Virginia Chestnut then added Traverse City Cherry over that, finishing it off with a touch of Vintage White.
The lettering is also done with Vintage White. I think white painted letters on burlap look wonderful!
Once you have the burlap in place (I usually tape it from the front, with the burlap laying on the floor and the frame on top of it, and then flip it over so I can get the placement of the letters within the frame correct), you can fold the edges in the back and staple it to your frame. Very easy project but they always turn out so pretty!Head on over and like our facebook page here.
