I must be one of the luckiest girls around!
My friends always bring me such fun stuff to work on,
like this sweet, little writing table.
This is such a pretty piece of furniture.

The delicate legs
and the curved crossbars on the bottom.

The delicate design on the front.

The wonderful tray that slides out.

I painted the body with Homeplate from American Paint Company
then used a damp rag to distress it.
On the sides and front, as well as on the slide-out,
I used American Paint Company's Treasure Box,
one of my favorites.
After filling in a few holes on the top, most likely where some cubbies had sat originally,
I used CeCe Caldwell's Beckley Coal.
I paired it with a chair I had picked up recently at a garage sale.
The same sale I grabbed a small bookcase from.
The chair got the same paint colors as the table
for a perfect little set!
I just love these two together!
What do you think of this pretty little pairing?
Let's keep in touch...
Your comments make me smile :) 'Til next time!
