Christmas Eve greetings to you all! And, speaking of greetings, I'm going to share just one more Christmas project with you all before the big day! I've always wanted a good place to put my Christmas cards and now I finally have one. An old rake turned Christmas tree is the perfect spot for hanging my greeting cards! This rusty old rake was perfect already so all I had to do was chop off the handle and add a few embellishments!
I've had these mini lights in my craft supplies for more years than I can remember. But they were just the right size to string on this tree with a little twine and hot glue!
I cut some burlap and shaped it into a star. I've removed the hot glue strings since I took this photo, too. Couldn't even see them until I got up close and personal with the camera! :)
My brother and his wife sent me this cardinal card. So I perched him onto the tree! For the rest of my cards, I used a hole punch and added some baker's twine to hang them in staggering heights off the rake.
I love my new card holder. Hope you've enjoyed seeing it today!
I hope you have a most wonderful Christmas day!
