Who wouldn't love a clawfoot tub to soak in after a long day?
Well, Mary has one in her farmhouse bath and it's in her very own lovely shade of vintage minty green too! Take a moment to step inside this beautiful, romantic bathroom...
Isn't the painted tub just gorgeous??
I'm completely in love with the colors on the walls in this room!
The romantic trellis, seashells, pale pink chair, old vintage bottles...
They're all so wonderfully peaceful and relaxing!
They're all so wonderfully peaceful and relaxing!
And how about this beautiful painted chandy above the tub!
This area of the bathroom is an addition to the house. What a wonderful window to look out while you emjoy a relaxing soak!
When they added the addition to the room, they used two beautiful old columns found by the side of the road to frame the addition out. Such a great architectural find! {I'm completely jealous!} They look absolutely beautiful in the bathroom!
Even with the addition of this little critter, drawn there by a family friend :)
Mary uses this fantastic old ladder as a towel holder.
I love the addition of purple in this room with the minty green hues!
When the family added their back porch {which I'll be sharing later this week}, the slope of the roof got in the way of the window here in this bathroom. So, they worked around it. And what a wodnerful result!
They took out the bottom half of the window glass but left the framing and now use it for shelving!
Isn't that collection of purple and blue vintage bottles just fantastic, too?
Next up on the Farmhouse Tour is Mary's wonderful living room. You won't want to miss seeing the custom furniture in this room so be sure to stop back tomorrow! And check out the Gallery Wall and Front Porch if you missed those posts.
