Valentine Vases with Repurposed Sweaters
If you're anything like me, you have a boatload of clear glass vases sitting in a cupboard somewhere in your house. Mine are in the cupboard above my refrigerator. The cupboard I can't reach unless I get a chair to stand on. I have about 10 vases and only two that I ever really pull out and use. So I figured I would find a way to pretty up those vases and put them to good use!

Roadside Rescue Chalkboard
Sometimes you find the prettiest little things on the side of the road. This project was constructed with the donations from a few different households. People throw out some amazing things!

Autumn-Inspired Cupboard Door Shelf
I was lucky enough to snag some showroom cupboard doors at an auction last year. They were all different in design and color. I've used some as signs and hook boards and only have a few left. I decided to make this one into a shelf!

A Junky Fruit Bowl
Boy, am I glad I picked up a broken metal base at a yard sale a few weeks ago! It turned into something I'm absolutely loving... this junky fruit bowl!

Striking Red Sewing Desk
This sewing stand is such a dainty little piece with beautiful hardware. She's so girly and pretty that I knew red would look good on her! Let's take a look at her before she got some new clothes.

Bundt Pan Punkin'
I must a have thing for vintage bundt pans because I always seem to have 1 or 2 lying around the house. Good thing I do, too, because I love my new little punkin'!

Cupboard Door Mailholder
I love the look of all the french-inspired projects I see on Pinterest and my blog travels. I have never actually made anything with a french flair. Figured I had better change that!

The Chalkboard with a Magnetic Personality
I found this cheval mirror frame at an auction. There was no mirror in it when I bought it, unless one small shattered piece in the bottom corner counts. The frame itself was in good shape, so I snagged it up for a steal, just knowing it would be a great upcycle project!

Shabby Little Shelves
This little shabby shelf was once just a lowly frame with an ugly picture and a broken mirror. And now it's a fabulous blue shelving unit! The mirror wasn't originally broken, but I broke it when I removed it from the frame. Oops. I guess it's seven year's bad luck for me. Now, isn't that just great! :)
But enough about my misfortunes. On to the project.

Industrial Cabinet Goodness!
Some of my favorite decor pieces are industrial. I just love the look of metal and wood together in perfect harmony. And, if you ask me, we don't do nearly enough of them! But I'm sharing one with you today that I hope you like!

Junk Style Vase
I love it when I find a cute use for my stash of tin cans. I sometimes feel like such a hoarder when I look at the little corner of my kitchen counter where I have clean cans and jars. But the hoarding feels worth it when I finally use one to make something, like this cute little flower vase from an old slotted metal spoon, a tin can and a piece of scrap wood.
